GINGER SNAPS

We served these cookies in the store on Hospitality Night, Dec 1st, 2016

Ingredients

2 cups Sugar
1 1/2 cups Butter, softened
1/2 cup Molasses
2 Eggs
4 1/2 cups Flour
3 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Ground Ginger
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Ground Cloves
extra sugar

Beat sugar and butter till fluffy. Add eggs and beat more, then add molasses.
Stir together all dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves. Stir flour mixture into sugar mixture and mix well. Cover with plastic and refrigerate for one hour. After dough is chilled, make 1 inch balls. Roll in sugar and place 2 inches apart on lined baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
